Secondary Birds
























In Art class, 5th graders reviewed the primary colors; red, yellow and blue and the secondary colors; orange, green and purple. Students “took at walk” with their paint brushes as they created an abstract painting using the primary colors to create the secondary colors.
Next, students used their cutting and gluing skills to create these magnificent birds!

3-D Lizard Directions!

make head and legs
fold un cut pieces together and glue
fold in half cut up to folded line teacher made. very important to cut to the fold or lizard will not bend nicely!
add patterens!
Teacher comes around and folds in sides while students color
cut on line while paper is folded, large triangle is body, small ones are saved for heads and legs next art class
Fold paper, draw a slanted line from one corner to the next

Handy Andy



In Art class, 2nd graders learned about the pop artist Andy Warhol and looked at some of his artwork. Then they create their own pop artwork paintings!

Hoppy Easter!




I know I've posted these before but I love them and will probably do them every year! I got the idea from Artsonia. They take about an hour and 1/2. Main emphasis was TEXTURE!
